Installation Pro-Tips for Builders
- Fixings: Use 316 Stainless Steel annular grooved nails or cladding screws for optimal durability and to prevent staining. This is especially critical in coastal areas (Exposure Zone D) as per NZS 3604:2011.
- Pre-Coating: Although this board is factory preprimed, seal all lap joints and cut ends with a quality exterior primer or timber sealer before installation to maximise lifespan and dimensional stability.
- Moisture Management: Ensure framing moisture content is below 20% and cladding is between 14–18% at the time of installation, in accordance with NZS 3602:2003.
- Lap: Maintain a minimum 25mm lap as per E2/AS1 requirements. Confirm lap with your building consent documentation.
